How does everybody manage automations in Reason?

Hi everyone!

Reason offers tons of automation possibilities. How do you keep track of them, make them consistent, facilitate copy/pasting?

It all depends on what I feel like is the right thing to do in the moment. Sometimes I'll feel like copying and pasting while other times I'll want to draw it all over again in the sequencer to keep it interesting.

I try to keep automation at a minimum by trying to record the music as "live" as possible. I play mostly guitars and basses so I give the music its nuances from the source and perhaps use automation in the final mixes. Most of the music here at Phead is really well produced but all done in a DAW "imo where one can give full attention to the automation features.
