Introducing a genre you don't know

Hey guys,

I'd like to show you a genre that I produce, but I'm pretty sure most of you never even heard of. It used to be pretty popular, but then electro music came and conquered the world.

This genre is called "Hands Up" or "Dancecore" or sometimes "Commercial Trance". If you're familiar with Cascada, their old songs were Hands Up. Now they do what sells.

I released an EP in February, I'd like to show it you. I use Reason, nothing else.

Hope you guys like it!

Impressive. You hooked me with the 80's vibe in the intro, then held my interest as you brought it absolutely up to date. I especially appreciate the melodic line throughout along with the sampled accents. I would have thought this to be not my style but found it eminently listenable. Thank you for sharing.

I'm listening all the music!

Pegasus has a very cool vibe, nicely done, dancey!

Wildfire is also a very cool track, reminds me of a cool times!

Great production, mate!

Wildfire has a strange chord progression that's mostly used in japanese music. Maybe that's why!

I had a listen. Your music reminds me of the Techno of the 90's. Something like R.T.Z.'s 'Dance your ass off'. This type of music became so well known and very popular with video games such as: Konami's Dance Revolution and such. I'm surprised to hear something like it again actually. Your production seems spot on and it delivers the goods. Not my type of music to listen to, but it brings some very nostalgic moments from that ERA.

Keep up the good work!

Ed
