Great description, Davey0001, I use the exact same setup and it works great. One little thing I do is to put a Mixer 14:2 inside each combinator. This gives me a really easy way to get the audio levels right between the different instruments in a split. I then use the combinator's programmer to map the mixer's master level to rotary 4 (which again is mapped to a knob on my controller), so I can quickly change each song's master level on the fly.

I also use a Behringer FCB-1010 midi foot controller (with UnO firmware), and have mapped buttons 1 and 2 on the foot controller to prev/next track, allowing me to jump back quickly to other patches after solos etc. I map one expression pedal to rotary 1 on each combinator, allowing me to set rotary 1 to control whichever parameter I need quick access to for each song individually. The other expression pedal is permanently mapped (remote override) to the master level of Reason's Main Mixer.

Hope this helps
