REDRUM EXpanded

Hi,
it would be great to have a more intuitive approach towards pattern making in REDRUM. Could you consider the attached quick photoshop mockup? The idea is that when you have your beats running, adding a certain hh, tom or whatever, it would be straight forward and you actually 'SEE' your pattern... creating a better overview overall...
Looking forward to your thoughts on this.
Regards,
Frank

ps. check out the attached 'Quick' Photoshop mockup....

There's def a need to be able to see multiple drum sequences. I had the Idea of a single drum module, with al redrum s controls and it's step seq. then you just add more of them for each drum sound.

Any sort of Modern Drum Matrix would be nice. I honestly hate using the sequencer for editing drums.

exactly, it is based on what we know from 'real' drum machines, and yes, it's very well copied into the Computer realm... But don't let that be the ultimate solution. So yes, a more 'matrix' kinda setup would definitely be more easy, straightforward, quicker and would have a better overview!
Propellerpeole? Anyone? Just a quick reply? Pretty please with a Hihat on top?

great idea mate. it would be cool to see where my kick and snare is positioned all of the time, so my hats and ghost snares etc do not clash with them!

Oh, nice! This would probably mean I would actually go back to using ReDrum again.

Also, this could mean live performance potential a la Maschine with a launchpad-type controller.
