argghhh next time I should go to bed eariler , I've tried to find the reason of the peaks, seems the reverbs causes them, although I've used the standard rv7000 so its not RE issue (I can see the same problem in FL11 too, so its definitely not Ableton Live issue)


ps. ooops AFAIK if I freeze a track I can't touch the settings of the external instrument, am I right (I'm at work so I can't try it) ?

But a quick idea,check the gain control on your external instument,turn that down,check reverb in Reason
freezing a track,yeah think that would be right,as the settings are not available until its un frozen,will check later myself

Maybe you have 3rd party plug ins ie VsT,some can cause high CPU spikes,not easy but try and isolate each on in turn and check on your CPU loading
