another level

hi guys, i dont know how to ask this. firstly i think DJ khaled is using reason because i have listened to his music a lot and all his kicks snars strings are from reason. can anyone tell me how does he do his beats or if there is anyone here who does something close to what he does tell me or school me that style as i wanna take my beats to another level

please guys i know you can or just send me a link of tutorial so i can access it and learn from tfrom it maybe.

wow thanks man, jeez when i google this thing before wrote this thread i saw quiet a lot of gusy using FL STUDIO for khaled style. well thanks man i am on it as we speak

DJ lucky date is doing electro synths instead guys. is there any specific link of all these hundreds of videos he has on YOUTUBE that covers what i am looking for? i dont wanna use fl studio hell no>

Hi,

Can't help you out directly but it sounds to me like you need to listen to what he's doing and experiment. For getting loud drumkit sounds you need to experiment with Kong a lot and for building beats then use Redrum. For fattening up your sounds, you need compression or limiting and learn how to use graphic equalisers and hi/lo pass filters to clean up your frequency bands with the bass!! There's just so much to it, I can't write it all down

There are loads of Tuts on how to use this stuff and I wish I could help out more! Don't be put off by electro tuts though, you can still learn how to make good sounds and use your kit from these..

Seriously though, check out this: http://tutorials.boyinaband.com/ he covers a lot genres..

You might find some of what you desire here!
