Create a folder (or folder structure) for all of your reason related files *outside* of the reason install folder. it is basically bad practice to mix your own files into a software program's installation folder.
I have a reason folder, and inside it, separate folders for refills, songs, etc.
i then just add the refill folder to the reason favorites
your browser has a default download location where all downloaded files go unless you right-click and select 'save target as' to put the file somewhere else.
