Yep. I like making complex melodies, and having the drums come out decently was a bonus. Do you have any suggestions or critiques that I can use to improve my music?

At the 1:12 mark, maybe consider having the drums (kick or toms) follow the chord progression. It's great that they're in the pocket (as they should be) it gives the chords space to breathe.

Also, may consider adding some strings in place of the Clav in some parts.

And lastly, keep working at it! Doesn't mean that you'll become a world class composer, but it doesn't mean you won't either!!
