I just bought Reason Essentials 1.0 which came with a key. I installed the app, registered it at and then tried to find the good. I did the free upgrade to 2.5, but was unable to start the app unless I did the internet activation every time. Tried everything to get the key to work...and I finally did. I had to install Firefox, login to the PH website and click on "Ignition Key Info". Firefox opened a window to associate Authorizer with "phrem". You need to check the box at the bottom of the windo wor it to work. Afterwards, was able to write to my key and all is well. BTW, I'm a Win7-64bit O/S with IE. IE will NOT authorize the key...need Firefox.
