Thanks.

Re: Minimal Techno

Minimal techno core-scene is not that wide: listen to Luomo, Benjamin Wild, Jetone...
Websites are those of record companies: Warp, Force-Inc, Traum (I can't remember exactly URLs, just use google).

Have fun, Peter.

Re: Minimal Techno

There is a load of good minimal music coming out of germany, labels like playhouse, perlon, trapez, kompakt and pokerflat look out for people like Jesper Dahlback, ricardo villobos, robag Wruhmes and dj magda also check out richie hawtin and his plus 8 and m_nus lables try and download his set from the john peel show on radio 1, this is one of the bast minimal sets i've heard in ages.

Re: Minimal Techno

Thanks, I'll check it all out. Already into Hawtin. Also Sutekh. I'm in the disovery phase now, trying to see what's out there and find my own voice at the same time.

Re: Minimal Techno

Junglephone - Hawtin is terribly influenced by the late 80's detroit techno scene in a major way.
See if you can track down some 87-90 Aux88 ,UR ,May or Carter for starters.

Re: Minimal Techno

Model 500 - great recommendation most of the early Juan Aitkins stuff is amazing.
Personally I think Model 500 / Aux 88 and Early Underground resistance material really helped shape the scene to large extent.
(Just my opinion)
