Re: REASON COMPILATION ALBUM

Do you need to be from the UK to join the Reason UK Users Group or be on the compilation album?

No everyone is welcome, currently to join the forum you do have to own a registered Propellerhead product.

But that is under review.

Re: REASON COMPILATION ALBUM

All entries must be recieved by Feb. 5th 2005 12PM GMT. any entries later than that will not be accepted.

We don't have much time people, so hurry. We have exactly two weeks left as of today, and today is January 22, 2005. So, kick yourself in the balls, put some ice on them, and get going already.

tempo or time signature automation in Reason?

Hey SPEEDES,

I was recently studying/looking over some articles on the propellerhead.se website, and I came across something that MAY be of interest to you, but maybe not, either way, here is the article;

"Q: How do I record or create tempo or time signature automation in Reason?

A: It's not possible to write or record tempo or time signature changes in the Reason sequencer.

However if you run Reason in ReWire mode along with a ReWire host application, e.g. Cubase SX, Pro Tools, Logic, or Digital Performer, et cetera, Reason will synchronize to the tempo and time signature of the ReWire host. Create tempo or time signature automation in the ReWire host, if possible, and Reason will follow."

Sincerely,
Dominik21

If you like, you can find this article under the "Support" section of the website.

Re: tempo or time signature automation in Reason?

Thanks Dominik, I know about this and have played with it a little. I really don't like having to run two programs through rewire though. It is true that rewire can be used to control the tempo. However it eats up valuable procesing resources that I don't have. Also, there is no dynamic time signature change in REASON, so that means that I would have to actually develop the composition in the other sequencer - which I don't want to do. REASON would just be there to generate sounds. I really like the REASON sequencer and would prefer to keep everything in one application.

But thanks for thinking about me!
