A new track by Dr. Fibonacci - Acid Techno

It's been awhile since I've posted a track. This is the 1st draft. If you are into minimal techno give this one a shot. I welcome any feedback to make this track better.

You can download the RPS file or listen to the track on my soundclick account. The URL is below.

If you would like to make a mix of this track; let me know; and I'll send you the RNS file.

Thanks,

M.

I like it mate - great sounds.

Maby, just maby take the reverb off te first claps and make the sound shorter and "clikeyer". Maby not, I think it might just be a personal pref of mine...

Hey Struthy,

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to work on the 2nd draft tonight. I will see what I can do about the claps. I was experimenting with reverb; but I think I like the claps with a shorter length and very precise.

Just out of curiosity, what did you think about the synth line that came in after the heavy acid line. One of my friends thinks it's too soft to come in after the 2nd acid line, yet my other friends thought it was a nice change.

L8r,

Mike

Talking Cool, I like it!

You know for minimal techno it's pretty complex. At first I was like, da, da, this one's going to get old quick. Every time I wanted to hear a change you had it in there and I was pleasantly surprised a couple times, I was pulled al the way through and the sound is tight... Damn nice job!

Great structure to the song,, reminds me slightly of Circus Bells, has that same off kilter mood running through it,,, i would be tempted to put a lot more hi hats on it( but i would possibly ruin it!) just to add the edge in the movement,,the synth line/Bass line work well together, ditto the syncapation on the kick in the first movement( that works very well) ,, i think you have something quite good here, and not 140 BPM madness either, so overall a good thumbs up,

Hey Modwheel,

Thanks for the comments. I love the simple techno; as long as it's not too boring. Regarding the hi-hats... that's something I might try out on my second draft of the song. I just purchases the 808 & 909 refills. I've always liked the sound of the 808 hi-hats, they are very precise without being too overbearing. I find the 909 hi-hats a little stong; and the track I did is too subtle for that.

But a good suggestion; I will definately try it out next weekend.

L8r,

Mike
