Quix - ( a chord pattern designer )

QUIX - ( A CHORD PATTERN DESIGNER )
It's a pattern device looks like Matix
But active in chord, not just 1 polyphonic.

1 click to draw your groove midi note pattern in QUIX Pattern step Sequencer screen
2 type name of chord progression in QUIX chord step progression screen
3 just hit the PLAY button

And ofcourse You can tune the pattern to any octace you like
by the OCTAVE button

Moreover you can create chord inversion by simply click
the INVERSION button above your chord name
(one click for 1st inversion
two clicks for 2nd inversion....
.....)

I hope my imagination comes true in my lifetime.

one of the more interesting suggestions I've heard...

can anybody think of a workaround given the current Reason 4 capabilities?

Haven't tryed it but:
Matrixes for different chords for each combi button so you can have 4 different chords like minor, major, etc. Say 3 matrixes for major, 3 for minor and so on.
Then the knobs on the combi can change between octaves?

Will it work?

Just out of curiosity, how much would you be prepared to pay for a ReFill with such a Combinator "device" ?

Really, it isn't that hard to learn some very basic music theory, enough to play some cords... probably not much harder than to learn how to use a chord pattern designer.

Feature sugestions forum is filled with device requests already possible to create with available Reason 4 devices.

As always, some are more complex and need more time and work to accomplish than others, so as everything in life, it all depends on how in a hurry someone is to get something and how much is he willing to pay for it, instead of trying to DIY

If I understood it correctly, this request relates to a "polyphonic" Matrix-like device, where you would sequence the chord key note with the added info of what chord combination to associate with it... and that's a "device" already possible to do in Reason 4.

If he needs something like this so badly to the point of paying for it, maybe someone will take the time to do it and see the time invested as worthwhile.
