20 Terabyte storage on the props site for self-enclosed Record songs

It sure would be nice to have a big storage area for those giant self-enclosed songs that Record/Reason can save. Then we can see how each other makes songs. One terabyte storage is now only $75.

Are you willing to pay $1500 for the privilege? How about $500/year for a minimum of 3 year agreement? Probably more for maintenance and support labour costs.

Can you find another 50 people who would also be willing to pay this?

If a 1 Terabyte good quality drive now costs $75 and Props already has the software in place to upload Reason/Record files, why would it cost $500/year per person? I get that response all the time from my IT department in my hospital. A $700 computer costs me $6000 and when I need support, they don't answer the first four emails, then tell me I have to pay for a repair ticket. I can see some serious mark-up in a hospital environment because you really don't want to lose or corrupt patient information, but if the Props storage area crashed, you would still have your own copy to reload. I'm just thinking about how to improve the full collaboration between Reason/Record composers that has been yielding some great results recently (Dave909 and Pirnikas, SoftEnerji and EcoPro, etc.)

One question I have is that do self-contained songs still need the next person to have the associated refills?

Because 20x$75 is $1500, which is obviously too much for most people (almost all people) for a cloud based service. So I'm suggesting the same thing but with a 3yr contract so make the yearly cost lower.

Unless you are happy to pay $1500/year for 20TB.

Not as on Reason 5. You can now self-contain Refill samples.
