ignition key issue

i got a new ignition key because i lost the old one. i cannot register the new one, just get:

Error: A license connected to this one is already authorized on an Ignition Key.

Help!!!! Filled out a support ticket but no response!!!!!!

Use Internet Authorization until props get back to you.

Will be interesting to hear how they resolve this, as it is likely to happen to anyone.

How did you get the new ignition key?

I suppose you can't de-authorize on the old key without it being plugged in - but maybe you can.

I think props are going to have to give you a new license for the key and invalidate your old license.

again, curious to find out how this resolves.

It's the 90 percent users of cracked versions that are the cause of this. So direct your anger in a more appropriate direction.

I'm shure they will contact you as fast as they can.

The problem is, normally it´s like that: You lost the key and it´s a "good will" of props to gave you a new one (very, very nice of them that they do, wow, great support !!!!!). Because you paid for your key and "sorry for that" you´ve to have an eye on it, actually YOU lost it. (Think about if you loose a notebook or handy or something like that, you shure you´ll get a new one from reseller ??)

Because I´m shure they will response shortly, I think it will be no problem for you to wait some hour´s. I think, they first have to deactivate you´re old key and then they can give you a new registration.

The common procedure is Propellerhead are going to deactivate the old IK (yes they can do that) so you can authorise your licence on the new one. If you have not received an automated reply from customer care, it might be that your email did not get through and you should try again.

I'm having this exact problem! I have never downloaded or torrented any version of Reason or any Propellerhead product, so I really resent the accusation. I've sunk over a thousand USD into Reason products since Reason 3! I do all my work in it and now I'm stuck without it if I can't be online ALL THE TIME, which is impossible for me where I live.

This is the Reason why I stopped using Record, yet another USB KEY. It’s bad enough I have to have one with Nuendo, but I paid $1700 for that, so it's a bit easier to swallow because its worth so much more. So stupidly, I thought I would try again with Reason 6.

Honestly,

I paid the 40 bucks for my replacement key
Took 3 weeks to come in the mail
Sent the email the first week to deactivate all previous ignition keys
Finally get key I can’t even use it

WTF, all I get from support is

Thanks for contacting Propellerhead Software support. Your e-mail has been received, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Not good enough people, get it together if you want to keep me as a customer.

And you wonder why people hack your shit, honestly.

That does suck. I remember when my Logic dongle broke. I had to send them the broken one before they would send me a replacement, but that's another story.

When did you send the support ticket? You do know they don't work on the weekends don't you? In the meantime can you not use Internet verification?
