Exclamation New Effect Units

New Effect Units:

Here are my suggestions for new half-rack effect units that can complement or replace the old ones found in Reason (not actually replace but be there as next gen).

Chorus: A brand new, high quality chorus with a range of tweakable settings.

Flanger: A dedicated high quality flanger (through zero type) with tweakable settings.

Phaser: A brand new, high quality multi stage phaser with tweakable settings and switchable stages for 2, 4, 6 & 12 stages.

Delay: A brand new, high quality stereo delay with tweakable settings and individual settings (different timings) for L and R channels.

Reverb: A brand new, high quality stereo reverb with different algorithms and tweakable settings

Pitch & Freq Shifter: A high quality pitch and freq shifter with tweakable settings that enables the user to change the sound in various ways. This unit can also be used for better sounding unison.

Band EQ & Filter Bank: A high quality band eq with tweakable settings, enabling the user to cut selected frequencies. This unit also has a filter bank mode where the module becomes a filter bank with a range of BP filters set at fixed frequencies.

Filter: A high quality multimode filter with tweakable settings, switchable between 6, 12, 18 and 24 modes, LP, HP, BP, and Notch types. For more interesting processing the module could use separate filters for L and R channels to enable some interesting stereo filtering effects. The filter will have a softclip w drive and limiting option built in.

Bit Crusher: A high quality bit crusher and samplerate reducer with tweakable settings to destroy your sound. This could benefit from true stereo with different settings possible on L and R channels.

Tube Warmth & Overdrive: A high quality unit with tweakable settings to add warmth to the sound and also the possibility to drive the signal into overdrive.

All effects should be able to handle mono, dual mono, faux stereo and true stereo (or whatever works best for the given signal).

This is all for now...
