Mac OS X and Tool Menu
One of the best things about Reason 4.0 is the little tool menu that opens up on the right when you first run the program, allowing you to drag and drop devices into the rack on the left (where all the real action takes place). When I used windows I think I simply had to click f8 and this Tool menu would instantly appear. However, since I switched to Mac - I bought a new Macbook about a month ago now - I could no longer find access to this feature. The problem is simple: where f8 would usually bring up the Tool feature itself, on Mac OS X Leopard, the f8 button is designated as the eject button! Is there any way of sorting this problem out without having to buy a new Apple keyboard?
