nanokey - need audio interface?

Hi everyone,

I'm using the Reason 4 trial at the moment, very impressed so far and inspired by the artists using this cool tool

Ok, so I'm currently using a virtual midi keyboard as I don't have a master keyboard. Before I save up for a full on midi keyboard + audio interface, I'd like to get a cheap nanokey to play with while I give the trial a hammering and I generally want to keep a portable/light setup.

I've seen nano running in reason but only on a mac on youtube, but assume it is ok for windows also (I use pc/vista btw on a compaq preario f500 laptop).

So, my question is, without a dedicated audio interface, will I get low/zero latency using nanokey + reason 4 + ASIO4ALL or do I need a dedicated audio interface? This is just for nano + reason, no recording live or need to output 24-bit audio etc.

Cheers all,
LW.
