Assign session tempo in Record to tempo from an audio file?

Hey all,

I already tried in the suggestions forum, but no answer so far.
I have a simple question here. Is Record able to manually apply the tempo from a recorded live session?
Let's say I recorded an orchestra or a drum track. In Cubase I am able to kinda mark every full bar of the audio file and Cubase creates a tempo out of this info.

I know that I could draw a tempo curve and make the session fit to the file, but it is such a time saving process to get the tempo from the recorded file directly to the record session by just defining the e.g. full bars of that audio file?

If that would be the case in record it would be awesome!!

Cheers,

Alex
