I LOVE the flexibility of Reason! BUT

Record is simply too little too late. What is to stop me from using Reason rewired into Cubase and moving to Record? The new mixer looks cool, but is that it? I guess I was expecting too much for the props to release a DAW (Even if they say it's not, it is) that uses VST support. Reason, I understand the logic, and half the fun is building things modularly anyway, but with Record, I think I was actually expecting something that would keep up with the competition...
