Scratching Module

Since there seems to be a lot of new tools in Reason 5 for the Hip Hop artists, I'd like to suggest a scratch module.

This could load in samples or even Rex loops/parts.

The control lane could just consist of a graph of forward/backward which could also vary the speed of playback/rewind by varying the horizontal distance of each line.

A readout on the module itself could contain the waveform of the sample/rex part and a progress indicator to show which part of the sample/rec part is currently being output.

Another feature could be a small fader and transformer on the module itself which could both, of course, be automated.

It could also have an input to connect to the matrix so that automatic patterns could be fed in.

Visually it could resemble a cd player or record player (although this would take up more space and might be negligable).

Pre-defined scratching patterns (and maybe even sample collections) could be recorded and provided by professional DJs using the existing scratching platforms, I'm sure lots of Hip Hop DJs would love to get their names on the Reason catalog

Good Idea?
