Smile Best MIDI controller for under $300

I don't want to waste people's time, so if there is already a recent post on this, feel free to send me that way. I know that there have been comments on this, but some of them were old or didn't apply to my situation.

Basically, I am wondering what are the best MIDI controllers for Reason. I have limited budget, so definitely under $500, but probably even under $300. Because of the limited budget it'd be nice to have some sliders or knobs as well, since I probably couldn't afford a separate mixer controller.

(I'd love for the MIDI controller to have a few good internal sounds, as backup in case my computer dies, but I doubt that the M-Audio ones are very good sounding. I might need to wait on that.)

I had been using an Edirol, but it petered out to its death.
