Sync - MIDI Clock error

Hi,
I'm using Ensoniq KS-32 as an external sequencer and Tascam FW-1082 MIDI interface. Trying to dump old works into Record. Everything is connected properly and sounds just fine in while playing back. As the user manual suggests, I've activated the Options > Sync > MIDI Clock. but once I hit the record button I get the following error (also attached screenshot):
"...you have midi sync enabled
Record is not in control of transport controls or playback start/stop,
your external MIDI sync source is.
Would you like to disable MIDI sync?..."
Did I miss anything?
Thanx in advance...
