possibility to save audio previews into .rns
I would really love it if Reason would give me the possibility to save the current loop or some part of the song as a sample into the .rns file so that if I open the file selector I can hear that sample (just like it is already possible with .rex-files and samples).
I am producing a lot of short jingles and my project directory is cluttered with files. To be able to get a short musical "hint" whats in that file would make my life a lot easier. And I think it would go with the design philosophy of reason files, as you already can have pictures, text and even samples embedded in your file but the preview in the file selector only works with samples and .rex-files.
At the moment I do the following: I render the loop into a file thats named like the .rsn-file and save this in the same directory - this helps but is
- time consuming
- not very efficient (have to remember to do this each time I change something and close the project)
- cluttering the project directory even more, having twice as much files in it
If this is already possible but I am just too stupid to find the option to turn it on - please give me a boot to the head and point me in the right direction.
