What about a convolution reverb and noise reduction?

I played around with Sony's Acoustic Mirror a long time ago and thought the reverbs were incredible. It would be cool to have a library of impulses from real acoustic environments and high-end reverb units to select from.

I've also used their noise reduction tool and really liked that as well. It was cool for removing unwanted hum/noise and as an effect. I'm not sure how you'd implement the NR, but I would think a simple wave editor would be the easiest. The NR could be applied to an audio track in a non-destructive way, so you could always readjust or undo.

I'd be really interested to hear from those that have used these types of plug-ins recently. It's been a long time since I've used either. Maybe they're not as great as I remember them...

(I don't get the chance to get on the board here often, so I've might have missed someone else's similar suggestion, so sorry if this has been mentioned before.)
