Question Anyone using Guitar Pro or any other tab editor?

I'm a new Record user. I use Guitar Pro 6 tablature editor (http://www.guitar-pro.com) to create backing tracks and to learn how to play new songs. I'm trying to sync Record with Guitar Pro (GP does not support Rewire). I've tried syncronizing via MIDI clock from the instructions in the Record manual but can't get it to work. My sound card is a Line 6 UX2. I also tried using my piece of junk internal sound card (SigmaTel), didn't work.

I export song files from Guitar Pro as MIDI files and import the MIDI files into Record to create better sounding backing tracks. Some how I would like to be able to view the guitar tablature in GP in sync with the audio playing in Record.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
