Mercury & Solace - Out 28 September on Bonzai - Reason used :)

Hey all,

My cover of BT’s ‘Mercury & Solace’ is due out on Bonzai-Nemesis on the 28 September. The package will include both vocal and dub versions of my original trance cover, my breaks rework (Soundcloud clip below), Timothy Allan’s progressive trance remix, Adam Fielding’s chillout remix, and Tom Noize’s electro-house remix.

My original trance version was Agnelli & Nelson’s ‘Big Tune of The Week’ last year. They were the only DJs the track was sent to, so I hope to get some more support from the full release smile

Here is a clip of my breaks rework:

The bass (apart from the wobbly bass) is Reason. One subtractor run through a Sony Oxford Inflator. The drums are also Reason. The rest of the synths are Omnisphere and Sylenth, it was sequenced in Ableton Live 8 and mastered in Soundforge 9.

Mike
