Audio interface

What up forum?

I've come to you with this question before but never really got any straight answers.

I know very little about this subject, but would love some advice/feedback from you guys. Here goes:

I'm looking for an audio interface (firewire/usb2) based, that will replace my crappy Sound Blaster sound card.

I would like to be able to record my guitar and some vocals through the interface.

I will also be looking at some new monitoring speakers eventually aswell, will they be able to plug directly into my new interface?

My budget is about £200 - £250.

I listen to alot of music on a daily basis with my headphones so quality is essential.

I'm currently using Reason 5.0 to compose my music.

I'm currently running Windows 7 64bit.

I also have an M-Audio Oxygen 49 so midi input is needed (is midi faster/better than usb?)

I would very much appreciate any help/feedback at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks alot.
