My friend works out of a studio with a lot of great analog gear, but he swears by Waves plugins and is pushing me to try them on my songs. As we know, Reason doesn't support these and I really like tracking in Reason 6 as well as using their DAW. Is there any decent software out there that is free or very reasonable that I can load my exported Reason wav files into, run the Waves plugin and then throw it back into Reason 6 as a wav file? (I don't typically like to record anything with any EQ or compression on but generally add it after so I wouldn't need to worry about this....) I know Ableton Live, ProTools, etc. can do this but I really don't want to spend that kind of money just to run Plugins. Can I use Logic Express for this, or Ableton Lite? Waves website has a Black Friday sale and I was going to pick up a few things while they were cheap.
