What to keep when sending track for profesional mastering?

Hi,

I am about to send a track for proffesional mastering so I have a little question for you guys. I really like to have the master compressor on in Reason 6 while mixing, I also EQ a bit in the master section to trim frequencies of the overall track. Besides this I always "master" my tracks for demo purposes by adding a maximizer and so on but I would like some input in what to keep and what to bypass. Their opionion is to send the track fairly dry, I would like to keep some parts that helps to glue the track but what is your opinion? Would you bypass the master compression for example?

/ Louis
