Black female vocalists are without a doubt my favorite. They make tracks 100% better.
I'm really into black vocalists from the 70s/80s/90s. There's something about their tone. Heres a few examples of what i love, its more of the high pitched "belched" lines:
1:45 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K4LdyPRhgY
1:00 - 1:05 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdNusNjnbEI
You get my picture ?
Also The two tracks, dont know if there black or white vocalists but it doesnt matter, the vocals in these tracks give me chills.
Theres just something about black female vocalists that give me a euphoric type, "chills going down my spine" type feeling. They make the tracks 100% better in my opinion, just wondering if any of you guys agree and if you know any older tracks that have similiar type lines that are good to sample.
