Question about Sample Looping.
I hope this question (or answer) doesn't get too complicated...
I'm trying to sample my Stylophone. If you know these little devices you may notice that after playing a note, there is a little and typical *pop* sound.
Now to the question itself. Is it possible to have a sample where:
When you hit the key, the sample begins playing, then as you maintain the key pressed, the sample maintains itself in a loop, but after releasing the key, it goes on to the end of the sample (and not to the end of the loop)?
So to make it graphically clear, I want this:
(1) Sample Beginning <~~~~~~~~| (2) Loop zone |~~~~~~~~>(3) End of Sample
(1) - This is what sounds as soon as I hit the key
(2) - This is what sounds for as long as I maintain the key pressed
(3) - This is what I want it to sound as soon as I release the key
Haha, I hope this made my doubt clear... The thing is... if I record a sample, and loop it, I lose the typical popping sound that comes out when I stop playing a note which I want it to appear on my sample, so that it sounds as realistic as possible.
Hope you guys can help me.
