Question recording alt country, folk & blues

I tried pro tools but was too complicated and tempermental. Bought record/reason and now w/the 6 upgrade things r much easier.
Everyone say's reason is for hip hop but I disagree. I think you can do anything you want with this DAW. Sure country and blues rex files are harder to find but they are out there. BigFish audio.com has a great library of samples and wav's like 20gig's of stuff to create these genre's.
I am singer/songwriter in the Nasville area and it's alot cheaper to use a fiddle sample than a fiddle session player! lol
I was just wondering if anyone else out there is using record/reason for country, blues & folk too. Thanks
