ReCycle type editor in Reason

I feel like this must have been brought up before (probably many times), but It feels like it would be a very natural addition. Being able to open audio files in Dr. Octo Rex and chop them up in Reason would be INCREDIBLE! The amount that this would speed up the workflow and use of Dr. Octo Rex would be insane. I love messing around with Dr. Rex but it becomes very annoying when I want to make slight changes to rex files or want to quickly chop up a vocal that I'm remixing (that I don't initially plan on chopping up).

What are your thoughts?
Why might this not be a good idea (it seems just pure awesome and do-able to me)?
