Need help, detecting midi sygnals

Hi all. I have an axiom midi controller with a usb port so I must use a midi to usb cable a power supply to send signals to my desktop. With the usb cable I remember it was extremely easy to setup in reason, not sure exactly what I did it just worked, but with the midi cable I can't detect a signal with any thing I've tried including bones midi translator.

I have the axiom driver installed and the keyboard connected properly (midi in to out and out to in) and its detecting a usb midi devise in windows. I made a short video showing what I'm doing to try to get it connected to make sure I'm doing everything right since I needed to figure out how to upload anyways (sorry I'm terrible at filming but it shows what I was trying to do and it not working). hares the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz6bu...ature=youtu.be

Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated, thanks =)
