Master bus compression technique

I don't know if anybody on the forum has seen this video with Gary Bromham talking about using reason to mix:

At about 14 minutes in he talks about side-chaining an EQ into the master section so that the master bus compressor isn't triggered by low frequencies, but I'm not sure by what is shown in the video how exactly he is wiring it. Has anybody done this before? I'd like to start doing this.
