Versions of song

I am recording and mixing band. Reson's song file is about 800MB in size because it contains everything. If I am experimenting and mix the song in three different ways I need to save it as three files. Every file contains everything so it takes about 2.4GB. I would also like to save my progress in mixing phase into different files because potentially the band could say: "The version from the last week was the best, could you take it and just add more reverb to it?"

So my question is: Is it somehow possible to shrink the size of the different versions of the same song when they are containing exactly same audio tracks? Something like create refill for the common audio or have it just like wav files in folder outside the song.reason file?

Thanks in advance
