Long session recording with Reason

Hi guys,
I need to record a live session which will last approximately 45 minutes in one piece. I will be using only two tracks. One for a piano combinator and one vocal audio input. and I'm using an MAudio fast track Pro with a Core i5 Macbook Pro and 8GB of RAM and enough hard disk space.
Now my question is, is there anything I need to do to make sure the whole 45 minutes will be recorded without lags, crashes, freezes etc.
I'm not sure how the recording process is done in Reason. does it record directly into the hard disk or does it use the ram until you stop recording ?
any other tips will be much appreciated )
Thanks,
Ali
