Using JACK Audio to Route Audio into Reason?

Has anyone successfully been able to do this? I'd like to use Amplitube, Guitar Rig, etc. and route the audio back into Reason and it appears JACK is the only way to really do this on Windows. I'm just want to make sure that its doable before I go charging down that path and waste a day or more.

Apparently it's possible to even use JACK to pass real time audio from one PC to another via LAN. That would be ideal to reduce strain on my Reason PC.
