Smile which hardware synth? (first post)

Hey Guys.

i've been searching various forums for a while to try and find a good hardware synth for deep house, tech house and Detroit techno sounds but i'm still clueless as to what would be best for a budget of around £500.

im mainly drawn to the newer analogues because i think it would add a lot to my productions as opposed to more software synths, the only problem is that the majority in that price range are monophonic, which means that i wouldn't be able to make pad sounds and some sound effects.

as you can tell I'm looking for something versatile, that could make anything from glitchy percussion sounds to rich analogue sounding bass's and possibly even pads (if polyphonic)

does anyone have a good idea as to what synth would be suitable for these sounds whether its a poly or a mono, Analogue or VA?

thanks in advance
