I've got a wee problem. In short, when I open Reason, the ASIO drivers kick in. Which is good.
But, when I want to listen to Youtube in the background, or open Goldwave (Audio editor) in the background to listen to other samples and what not. Only Reason produces Audio, but youtube or anything else won't play any music at all. I'm guessing it's just a simple routing problem with the soundcard.
Here are my specs.
ASIO 4 ALL
Acer Aspire E1-571
Creative X-Fi USB Soundcard
The laptop does have an internal soundcard which is fine for general messing about in Reason but for serious production I plug in the USB card.
Now, basically I want to know why is it that when Reason is open, nothing else will play audio. This includes windows media player and such, I have to actually close reason and all other programs and then open them back up to listen to something. As a work flow goes, this is just a nuisance.
If you need anymore info just ask and I will provide as much detail as I can.
