Recordig Audio

Hello Forum. I need a bit of assistance in Reason 6.5

Basically, I want to learn how to use Reason for recording audio. I will list my equipment at the bottom of the post.

I open reason as normal, I run ASIO4ALL as my audio output and everything is fine using midi, but I have an acoustic guitar and a microphone. I wanted to test out Reason for recording audio and seeing how to use it. However, I can't seem to get any audio signal what so ever in Reason, but I can get some sound from Windows 8 recording function.

This is what I am using at the moment

Laptop (Acer Aspire E1-571)
Reason 6.5
Creative SoundBlaster XFi USB soundcard.
ProSound Unidirectional condenser microphone

The mic connects via jack cable, into the USB soundcard.

I can actually get recorded sound but only through Windows 8 recording function. It's fairly low in volume but it's still there, were as Reason get absolutely no signal.

Whats going wrong?
