Trigger level for sampling

Like on any hardware sampler, I wish I could set a db level at which the sampling should trigger. This way I could be assured of the start time of my samples and lining them up later, would be mush easier.

Especially if there was a "first sample" option, so that I could sample from digital audio sources and since there's no noise, simply know that the first sample that comes over the wire, will start the sampling.
