Once again, beating a dead horse

I know this is beating a dead horse, but please tell me if this is possibly a good idea for the future......

I, along with many people out there often get angry when browsing patches, looking for that special sound. In thinking of ways to solve this problem, i think i may have come up with something......Just have one sound bank. After all, a bank IS where you store things. You simply "Refill" your bank. Plug in a refill and a shortcut is then generated for each patch and then placed into a corresponding folder. Then when you go to browse subtractor patches, all the patches are right there in one place as opposed having to look through all of the sound banks. I think this would still maintain the protection of the sound banks which is the reason an unpacker doesn't exist.

What do you think? Is it a good idea, or am I a babbling idiot?
