Why PCs are bad for music

You newbies are clueless. As one who worked thru DOS 1.0 to Windows ME as a consultant and in research labs, and also who used MAC from 1986 to my current G4, it's the interface, e.g. the human interface. My Windows systems have always crashed more often than my Macs & are more difficult to bring back up.

If you are a pre- XP user (even Windows ME), try naming a file using an asterisk (*) or a pound sign (#) or a forward or back slash in the file name. You can't becasue it was coded that way back in DOS 1.0. Macs just work better for a worker, developer and user. XP has corrected many of the problems, but it still doesn't work as well as OS10+.. I use both Macs and Windows. If you are biased because of school systems, you don't have a clue what a real Mac can do when you use it 4-6 hours a day.
