ReWire & Sequencer Cycle Mode Glitch

Whenever I have cycle mode enabled in one of my sequencer applications (Logic 6 and 7 on the Mac and Cubase SX2 and SX3 on the PC) and I have another program ReWired into the sequencer, there is always a noticeable glitch in the audio every time the cycle starts anew.

This happens with Reason, Live, and now with Acid 5 (in ReWire slave mode) on the PC.

The cycle "hiccup" is somehow related to the buffer size of my audio hardware. Reducing the buffer size from 256 to 128 samples shortens the duration of the audio glitch. However, this also results in an EXTREMELY annoying momentary "buzz" when the cycle comes around.

Because this hiccup occurs on both my computers and with different hardware and software, I'm starting to think that this is just a limitation of ReWire.

Does anyone have a solution or workaround for this problem?

Thanks!
