Help getting started with my Reason rig.

Hey all,

OK, I'm a total noob with home studio setups and what not and I need to get a basic step by step to help me set up my Reason 2.5 rig.

I have the following:

Reason 2.5 (obviously)

Solid PC running Win XP Pro Service Pack 2

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum soundcard

Edirol PCR-A30 midi controller

I guess what my question is is how the heck to I put them all together so that Reason recognized my midi controller and I can start making music? I'm VERY new, like I said. My Audigy soundcard has midi ports, do I need to use them? As of right now the only thing connecting my MIDI controller to my comp. is the supplied USB cable.

If anyone out there could help me with an easy to follow, step by step guide as to how to make this system work, from how I need to connect the controller to the computer (assuming I need more than just the USB) to getting it all set up in Windows and in Reason itself. I've installed the drivers for the controller and what not, I just don't really know how to actually "play" it in Reason.

Thanks in advance for the help and I look forward to figuring this out so I can start making some music.
