Reason 3.0 and RDK 2.0 for Progressive Rock/Jazz/Blues?

I'm new to Reason and I currently am using Reason Adapted that came with my Pro-Tools LE. I am considering upgrading to Reason 3.0 and the Drum Refill 2.0. I have a small studio at home and I want to use Reason to help create guitar oriented, progressive rock/jazz/blues. I want to be able to program drums and other percussion (African, Native American , Orchestra etc) as well as synth and orchestra brass, strings, flute and some times (probably more often than I anticipate) bass guitar.

All other guitars will be actual guitar recordings.

After saying all that, will Reason 3.0 and RDK 2.0 get me there?

I appreciate any help I can get. I was back and forth between using MOTU Mach 5 and BFD or Reason 3.0 and RDK 2.0. I was impressed with the examples of RDK and the low cost of this package compared to MOTU Mach 5 and BFD and the additional libraries required. The cost of Reason 3.0 and RDK 2.0 would get me there now.

I can't seem to find any song demo's of this style of music. Mostly Industrial, House etc.

Thanks again.
