Steven and John's Top Five
Their unique blend of electro-metal-jazz-grind-dance-rock has allowed the band to use Reason and live instruments to explore every style of music they see fit. They have toured internationally, landed in the Billboard Top 200, landed #1 Top New Artist on the Billboard chart with their latest full-length have generally confused/aroused people all over the world.
Groovemasters Rock Kit 5 (Reason Factory Sound Bank / Redrum Drum Kits / Rock Kits)
This REDRUM kit is the basis of tons of iwabo ideas. Most of our demo tracks have this kit as the basis! The included sounds are great, and if you're feeling extra frisky you can always add some extra samples since it's so easy... buttt this kid is an all-around solid 'metal' kit.
Distant Grand (Reason Factory Sound Bank / Combinator Patches / Piano and Keyboard / Acoustic Piano)
This patch is just creepy and beautiful! You can hear it on our old EP and our latest full length... and it seems like we both always use it for creepy ideas that should end up on a horror movie soundtrack or something. You literally could open this patch and just play random notes and score a horror film or at least make your loved ones shit themselves.. it is ridiculous and awesome.
Griffin's Secret Strings (Reason Factory Sound Bank / Combinator Patches / Strings)
Another patch we probably overuse haha... Amazing for thick, epic chord progressions that sound like REAL strings. Just open it and write a string lead that sounds like real recorded strings!
FATPPG (Reason Factory Sound Bank / NN-XT Sampler Patches / Synth Poly)
Just a simple synth sound that you can leave alone or throw fx on for a ton of GREAT sounds. As with all of these patches, you can hear this sound all over our CDs backing up tons of our riffs just to make them thicker-sounding.
Juicer II (Reason Factory Sound Bank / Combinator Patches / Synth Lead)
So we are already at patch #5 and could keep going for about 200 more patches of stuff we love! Buuttttt yeah.. this is a great lead synth sound that we have used on multiple occasions. Just open it up and tweak a few things and you have an awesome sound that works for techno, rap, dance, ANYTHING.
Bless Beats Top Five
Best known for creating Wiley’s 2008 smash ‘Wearing My Rolex’, which debuted at number 2 in the singles chart, selling over 300,000 copies. Renditions which followed by the likes of Little Boots and Hot Chip for Jo Whiley’s Live Lounge session on Radio 1 took Bless Beats’ work well beyond the ears of the post-grime loving electro pop massive.
