Authorization failed message when registering upgrade?

If you’re seeing an “Authorization failed” message when trying to register an upgrade, or you’re trying to access an area of the site but can’t, and you’re sure that you should be able to, then there might be a problem with your browser session. This can apply in the following cases:

- You’ve just registered a Reason Essentials or Reason licence to your account, and you’re not able to register a Reason upgrade.

- You’ve just registered Reason 6.5 and want to buy Rack Extensions in the Shop.

- You’ve just registered Reason Essentials 1.0 / Reason 6.0, and you’ve downloaded the upgrade to Reason Essentials 1.5 / Reason 6.5, but no new licence number has been issued to your account, so you can’t authorise the new version.

If the above applies to you, you can most likely fix it by simply logging out of your Propellerhead user account and then logging in again. If the problem persists, then delete all cookies in your browser and try again.
